• Dick Butkus is possibly the worst name a person could have. What were his parents thinking? I mean, his last name is Butkus, which is bad enough for a young child, but adding Dick doesn't help the poor boy.
• OU lost, they are 2-2 and they continue to drop in the ranks... from 3 to 8 to (this is the best part) 19!!! Why could this amazing thing not have happened while I lived there? And UT is 4-0! Tech is 3-2, but I don't expect much from them this year. Lets hope Dallas pulls out a win today, you never know with them (just got back from church- Dallas was ahead when I left, they lost by 7- what a surprise).
• Speaking of football, I miss unnecessary celebratory "dances" after scoring. Oh the good ole' days.
• No-one will believe this, but I woke up at 5:30 am. Its true. I cleaned, read, made breakfast, took a shower, and caught up on my internet before services this morning. Why? Well, it starts Thursday/ Friday when I was sick and sleeping a lot. My circadian rhythm has been off and I was just wide awake at 5:30- so I got up up after laying there trying desperately to sleep to no avail.
• Blogs with no pictures= no fun. Sorry. Do you want a picture of me sleeping? I think not. I looked for hydroplaning pics on the web for the last entry, but they were either people purposely having fun hydroplaning (which I do not approve of) or "Man dies in terrible wreck" and that's just not fun either. So, here's a picture of the Scooter Store, Bryana really enjoyed it.

• The number of blog posts I have up today is astounding. I have one more, but it's serious and might make people hate me... So I may save it for my own head... yeah right. Anywho, I'm just trying to stay awake! I was going to shop (meaning going to stores and buying nothing) to stay awake, but... rain... (see previous posts). Also, I have adjusted quite well to the humidity and now the mosquitoes, but today, it's POURING rain and 88 degrees, but wait, the heat index is 100 (really, look it up) and its raining... 100 and raining- gross. So, I sit at home...must...stay... awake... at least until after church tonight.
• I would like to thank Sir Toby Keith for another stellar hit. I don't know the name, but my favorite line is, "fit's gonna hit the shan"... I do not think this is better than just saying what you mean, but I gave him 1 kudo (out of a possible 5.56 million kudos) for not actually saying the word, but then he said "Hot dog, hot d*mn"... so ridiculous... negative kudos to toby (not just for the language, but for the whole song, and most of his songs for that matter). The animal is also a Kudo. Do they still make Kudos bars? I hope there aren't any Kudos (the animal) in them...

• Do you ever go online to find a recipe? So, I'm on allrecipes.com, find a 5 star recipe reviewed by 5K people... 2 Ingredients, Quick, and Easy... But then I start to read the reveiws: "I gave it 5 stars but I just tweaked it a bit with a few staples- I used cornmeal instead of flour, syrup instead of milk, and added 3 cups of sugar, a rat's tail- small and diced, and a leaf from a rare, Antarctic plant. But it was delicious! My husband was a bit leery, but once he took a bite he couldn't stop eating- of course he was sick all night, but carpe diem!" Can you just enter a new recipe please? or review the actual recipe? I'll even allow for 1-2 changes/ tips but these should be enhancements- like "I like to add 1 cup walnuts to this brownie recipe if you like nuts." Otherwise, please put your Rat-Tail-Recipe as a new entry. Thank you.
