Thank you God!

I have a job.  Not just any job- but THE entry-level job I've wanted since law school.  I just started looking for a job a few months ago, and I started applying for attorney positions.  When that didn't pan out, I looked for paralegal jobs.  When I wasn't hired for those, I applied for clerical work.  When that didn't work, I applied for anything I found.  It is quite frustrating to have spent $100,000 on an education (and 7 years) just to be unqualified to work at McDonald's- when 15 year olds are chosen instead.
A few weeks ago, I decided to move back home (mostly because my roommate had unexpected expenses and couldn't live here anymore, therefore it was super expensive for me to pay for this place alone) right before thanksgiving to save money.  And, because I'm so sick of moving, I got rid of my dresser, chest of drawers, nightstand, desk, and 2 recliners along with other random items- because these would be unnecessary at my parent's house and I'd just have to pay to store them and they're too heavy to move.  Without them, we could move my stuff easily without help and without renting a truck.  So, I already had my notice turned in to leave, and moving plans in place.
About a week ago, Brooke sent me a job posting from the TX Bar Page (which she has been so kind to do often) for a Title Attorney- and so I applied knowing I'd never hear from them again.  Wednesday, yesterday, she was here and we went to watch the sunrise.  Upon returning home from that around 10 am, I got the call.
Throughout the 2 phone interviews, everyone I spoke with was so kind and personable and seemed so glad to have found me to work for them.  They were trying to sell me on a landman position instead of the title attorney position.  I needed no persuasion.  This is the job I had been wanting since oil and gas class in law school (it's how you move up to be the title attorney- or just stay there, it's a great job (at least in my imagination)).
So thank you all for the prayers.  God is working.  Whether I got this job or no job, I know he is.  But now I am so thankful I didn't get the $12.00 / hour secretarial job that I was "overqualified" for (what the heck does that even mean?) and didn't even want.  I'm able to start immediately b/c I've already given my notice and have moving plans here- so now I'm just moving to a different city instead of home- thank you God for letting this work out so perfectly!
Now, in a few months when I'm complaining about living in motels and travelling and tired of working all the time, this is my reminder that I am blessed to have a job that I am at least getting experience in the field that I want to be in and am making enough money to live on and pay my bills!  Plus, I'll be living in San Antonio- which I love (ok, actually New Braunfels for now- thanks to the Smith's).
Praise God (in the good times and the bad, but thankful that now is a good time)!

YAY! (I woke Ross up the other day with my excitement when you called me to tell me you got it. :)

I'm excited that I know a lot about your job now that I've worked under a landman. I won't be so lost when you talk law now! Too bad I don't want to be a Land Tech again - otherwise I could work with you!
