- How in the world does a chimp (or anything) rip off your ears, nose, lips, eyes, and hands? I'm not doubting it- but how odd is that?
- So she's suing the owner of the chimp for 50 million dollars and the state for 150 million (I think). Yes, I think owners of viscious dogs who bite you should be liable for the damage when their dog gets out and bites the neighbor. BUT, I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for this lady. From what I know, she was good friends with the chimp's owner. So good of friends, that the chimp's owner called this lady when the chimp got out to look for him and that is when the attack happened. Ok, so attack victim and chimp owner are friends- therefore victim has spent lots of time with the animal- willingly. Not only that, but she admitted to be scared of the thing. So... stay away from him maybe? I don't know the facts- with pictures of the victim and the chimp hugging though, I doubt she was really that scared. Anyway... wild animal + human "friendship" = bad. Just because it can open doors and drink from a cup doesn't make it our friend. I have no idea why the state is involved.
- Why do they have to say "Warning, these images are very graphic and disturbing" before we see the victim? Holy crap, she's a person. How would you like to be introduced like that? I think that just makes it worse. Yes, she is severely disfigured. But she's not a crime scene with blood everywhere with 1 ear over there and one here and her nose hanging in the tree there... Seriously, she's a person, and I believe she looks scarier with her face peeking out from under that veil that when she just shows her face... half-way hiding= scary, not hiding = not scary.
- Now, if you come to my house you are forewarned. My dog, Coda, is crazy, she will jump on you and drive you nuts- but it's all in love. My cat, Paisley, will most definitely bite you- hard- but it's not in love. Hashi, our cat, won't hurt you- but she does suck your finger if you aren't petting her enough. So, we have wild animals and they will attack you if you come over... don't sue me.
Paisley with Bryana, Coda looking goofy when I first got her over a year ago, and I don't have a pic of Hashi. So, I need to get a recent pic of Coda and some of Hashi.
