I just got to play with $5,000.00+ bows. This price is nothing for pros, but I really need a new bow and now I'm not sure that I can settle for a $400 one. I'm currently still playing with my $89 carbonite bow from 11th grade. I believe I've found some good carbon-fiber ones for $400- but I wish I had a Peccatte, Voirin, Maline, Kittel, or Sartory instead of my plastic Glassel stick... time to start saving!
If this post means nothing to you... sorry... but I had such a great time playing with these bows!

goodness, I'd be happy to play a VIOLIN of that quality! i'm still playing my 5th grade $1000 violin! way too many things to "save up" for in my life. i hope you can get a good bow!
