Late Night Talk Shows

I've been a little bored lately. There's only so much going to the beach, shopping but not buying anything, cleaning, swimming, driving randomly, reading, and internetting one can do before you just have to resort to broadcast television (especially at night). So, I'd like to review the late night talk shows... I only know them by the host whatever the show is actually called. So here we go in order from crappiest to best.

6. Carson Daly- I'm not sure if this one counts, but apparently it's getting more viewers than JIMMY. Crazy people. Although, if I could have a show where I go eat a meal or go to a bar and introduce 2 videos then get paid, heck, I'd do it. But as far as entertainment value...none. I guess if you're into the band it wouldn't be terrible, but I'm NEVER into the wierdo artist thats on there. WATCH JIMMY KIMMEL.

5. Jimmy Fallon- I thought this would be funny and entertaining and was happy for him when I heard he was getting the show. Then I watched it. Then I thought, maybe it was just a crappy night so I watched it a couple more times. Then I turned to the infomercials. Sorry Jimmy, maybe it's not you, maybe its the writers?

4. Letterman- I used to love Letterman, before I ever watched any other show. Then I watched Leno or something else... Letterman is not funny- sometimes if you have to watch the entire show there is some humor in the recurring inside jokes... BUT thats about all. Top Ten is never funny (ok, 1 point / week is funny) and he is pretty much a jerk (from what I hear...).
(#4- Leno would be here if he still did the late night shows- just in case you wanted to know)

3. Craig Ferguson- So, I don't get CBS (thank you government digital take-over!), but I did enjoy me some Craig Ferguson... He definitely has funny moments. But once I discovered Jimmy Kimmel (they came on at the same time), I had to give up Mr. Ferguson.
***I feel it's worth mentioning that only Jimmy and Conan are really worth watching... the rest are simply listed in case you're terribly bored and sick some night.

2. Conan O'Brien- I admit, I could not stand Conan in the past- I never watched him until he'd taken Jay Leno's place. And, because I have no cable, and no CBS, and I despise infomercials, I watched it. After only 2-3 episodes, I was hooked. Once you get past his beauty... and awkwardness, you discover pure hilarity. Now, I look forward to my Conan time at night and I even have a little thing for him and no longer wish for him to change his hair. I tried to find funny pictures, but it wasn't worth looking more than 2 minutes and I could only find "normal" ones.
1. Jimmy Kimmel- Brooke and I discovered Jimmy Kimmel during law school. Jimmy was always there to make us laugh if we weren't studying or busy at midnight. Here he comes on REALLY late- like 2 am, and in OKC it was midnight. He isn't even being given a chance to compete with the other guys because of his time slot- and I guarantee, if you ever can't sleep- Jimmy will make your sleepless night quite enjoyable. I can't even describe what makes him great, but he ALWAYS makes me laugh.
