La Cucaracha... ya no puede caminar!

How I killed the most MONSTROUS cockroach I have ever seen... AND got it out of my house!

I had just come in tonight from taking out the trash. I got some trash juice on my shorts, so I ran to my room quickly to change. Apparently a little too quickly leaving the door open for the most GIGANTIC cockroach I have EVER seen (in real life, not in the zoo- because that's not real? wait- but I think this one may have had genetic engineering it was so ginormous) to come in. Thankfully Paisley, my cat, was so brave and attacked it injuring the nasty thing so it could not fly more than a couple seconds at a time and couldn't run as fast as normal cockroaches.

After debating what/ how I was going to go about the murder (it was hiding under a chair), I finally decided on drowning it with bug spray (mostly because it was too big to squish and every time I got close it flew and I screamed and ran off. This is not good- because then I don't know where he is and I would not sleep until he was gone). I sprayed half the bottle on him and followed him all around the room leaving wreckage along the way. FINALLY, he died. I scooped him up in a box and threw him outside. I don't freak out about little bugs, but this thing's body was at least 2 inches long0 it shriveled up when it died- i promise- HUGE.

The tape dispenser is to show how big it is and sorry, some of his appendages are on the ground as well, don't worry I vacuumed and cleaned well!
