Right now, I'm "writing" a violin part to music written by a band that wants me to be their violinist/ backup singer. They're really good- and it's a christian band so it'd be perfect! The not-so-perfect part: they are in Midland and I am not. Therefore, I'm just doing it so that if they still don't have someone when/ if I move back then I can still do it. It's just fun to know I could be in a real band with paying gigs (my quartets were fun, but still not band-fun). That's my excitement for the weekend!
Earlier this week I got to go to New Braunfels again and spend fun times with Brooke. We got a whole lot of quality clearance shopping time in and got lots of fun new clothes. It was so much fun- if you don't know Brooke, you should. Besides knowing where all the best clearance sections of the greater San Antonio area are, she's smart, giving, and a blast to be around.
So tomorrow my spending (not very much- I'm picky) spree will continue... half price books, macy's and dillard's clearance... here I come!

ha! I know exactly the article about introverts you mention- I found it 3 years ago and was like wow! This is SO true! I had it posted on all my profiles for a while, but kinda forgot where it went. thanks for posting, I shall include it in all my stuff again :)
