Presently and Previously...

First, there was the move... I have way too many things... I'd like to thank the Powell's for helping so very much with moving- they were the only volunteers of everyone who knew I was moving(yes there is some bitterness here) and their help was invaluable! Dad and I drove down and some random church people moved me in (thank you Victory Church for your services!).

The first few days were spent unpacking... and unpacking... and unpacking... (ok I still have a few boxes, but if I'm not here for long, why open the unneccessaries?). Then the fun began! Bryana came for 3 weeks?? I don't know but a long time and it was wonderful!

I picked her up in San Antonio- so we spent a few days with Brooke in New Braunfels. There were a few river floating adventures with Audra and Jayla (my favorite), shopping, fun dining experiences, and just good times. The best was hearing a New Yorker order food here: "Is that free-range chicken?" "Is that organic?" "Do you have gluten-free bread?" "Does this have added hormones?" "I thought this would be good..." And then the grocery stores were a whole other adventure (and we went a couple times a day). I apologize to our waiters... but it was entertaining!

Dinner at the Gristmill at Midnight- we shut Gruene Hall down- yeah

Then we went to Corpus. I won't bore you with terrible details, but lets just say that we hit a beach everyday, both pools in the apt complex at least 4-5 times a day, went to the grocery store twice a day, and Sally's or Dollar Tree a couple times (thanks Bryana for the free haircut and color!) Then Rob came and we took some longer trips to pools and beaches. We went to Matamoros, MX, South Padre, all the Corpus beaches, and the Port Aransas beaches. Back to San Antonio for a few days and some more river floating and other fun adventures and Bryana was off!

We spent a lot of time in the apt doing free things since we're all poor (or cheap)How we spent 75% of our time- in the car
I've had such a great time since I've been here... there is an open invitation for anyone to come visit... I encourage company esp. since I still know no-one here.
(I have a few more things to add in the future, thus I say them to remind myself: singing on the beach with crabs, amphitheater fun, water camera pics)
