Just my radom thought: universal healthcare...
Why are we creating this (especially since it will take it from those that already have it and only provide it for a "few" people... i.e. it's not universal (making only 35 million not have it as opposed to 42 million)) ?? Sure, I'd love for everyone to have healthcare, but there are so many other things that are a little more important. If you really cared about people, why not feed those that are starving to death? Why not have universal housing for the homeless? Oh and maybe we should make Ross the new government clothing project- GCP- free clothes for the naked. Seriously. When you think about the necessities in life they are food, clothing, shelter. Not healthcare (by the way, if you go to the doctor and tell them you don't have insurance and you're poor- they'll make you pay like $10 bucks- that's what I did in college- if they don't do that, go somewhere else!)
