My Utmost

Just in case you don't already know about it, My Utmost for His Highest is a great quick, easy, read that will really help you grow closer to God (I would suggest getting either the app or an updated version because the original was written in the early1900s).  I've had it for years, but never really read it- until recently.  I got the iphone app for 2-3 bucks and sometimes when I catch myself getting frustrated at work, or even feeling good I'll take a 2 minute break and read it.  It ALWAYS uplifts me, and at the same time makes me think/change.  It's no-nonsense and straight to the point- a good mix of scripture and explanation.  Read it!
Reading the other day, I noticed Matt 25:41.  I always think of Satan in Hell-his home, his lair where he rules.  But Hell was created as punishment for Satan and his angels- by God.  Obviously God created everything, even Heaven, so he created Hell, but it was interesting to me to actually think about it in that manner.
Speaking of Heaven, how do you picture it?  We all have our own views and I'm sure we'll all be a little wrong, but it's interesting how people imagine it.  I don't see streets of gold- in fact when I picture heaven, I don't see what the surroundings will be but what we will be doing.  We'll all be in a group singing- with Jesus- with God.  That's all.  I have never picture what it looks like around us, day or night, inside or outside, just singing.  In fact, it's not perfect.  It's like devos in the forum in college.  Some people are off key- some come in a little early, and the people who "can't sing" are singing with all their heart- but it's beautiful nonetheless.
