I need some fun weekend trip ideas. Ideally I could drive there for the weekend but flying is ok- especially for 3 day weekends. So far New Orleans, Vegas, and Mexico top the list, but I'm really hoping for super cheap trips. If I can just hold out for summer, the lakes, rivers and beaches are free to very inexpensive and just a few miles away- but that is a long way from the 35 degree rainy weather it is today.
Does anyone else get off for Cesar Chavez day? I don't really want to celebrate his legacy, but I'll take a day off...
