There's a Hole in the Bucket

• Yay for a day off tomorrow- Good ol' MLK, Jr!
• I just got a sizeable raise and I've only been working for about 6 weeks- woohoo!
• I want a new car... want, not need, therefore I shall refrain.  But I'm thinking an suv- not a big one though.  As much as I love trucks, I would prefer more inside cargo space so I don't have to worry about rain on my suitcases, and my ranch is a long way away- so I don't need a truck.  I very quickly thought about a car for fuel economy since I'm driving a lot now, but I just cannot stoop to any sort of car (unless its a classic muscle car- but those aren't ideal for travelling).
• I also want a house.  But I'm only home 2 days a week and I may not have this job long, so I don't want to get tied down to that.  Besides, I have a very sweet housing deal right now!
• I haven't done anything since I started working, so I haven't posted... work isn't that exciting to talk about (neither is any of this stuff)- well, I'm definitely enjoying work, but no one else will enjoy hearing about habendum and Pugh clauses and how much money oil companies are spending and where they're drilling next and the history of the area/families...But, I did go to Cabo for a few days with my whole family and Bryana so hopefully I'll post some pics of that soon- as soon as Jen and Ally send those to me, plus Amy and Jeff got married- which was wonderful.  Hopefully I'll stop working all weekend and get a life now that I'm getting the hang of it- but we'll see! 
• Somehow I hardly got to see Bryana while in MX, so we didn't get a ton together...
