Monika, Megan, Brooke, and I have been taking a
basic auto class for ladies recently and have had so
much fun. We've learned oil changes, tires stuff, parts,
troubleshooting, battery replacement, how to replace
brakes and rotors, replacing belts and hoses, fuses...
LOTS. Nick is our teacher, he's great (although I feel
sorry for him getting stuck with the ladies class when
he knows so much- sorry!). We only have one more
week of it and I will miss our Tuesday/ Thursday
adventures to the southside.
Today, in honor of spring break, st. patrick's day-
the day I was supposed to be born, but decided to
hold out for another couple weeks, Elaine's journey
back to Iraq, and my love for piercings, I got my
eyebrow piered today. This brings my grand total
up to 9. The eyebrow is the most insane one (7 on
the ears isn't too outrageous, nose isn't too daring)-
so I think I shall quit. I know I'm completely too old
for this- but I don't have to be a lawyer for another
few months, so I'm going to enjoy "rebellious" crazy
while I still can (even though my mom totally approves)!
(I look like I have pointy nose in this picture ha- but
it's the only one I have)
Othewise, 1 more month of class, 3 weeks of finals
and I'm out of oklahoma! I'll be at Brooke's house
in San Antonio with her and another girl from law
school spending 2 months studying for the bar and
being Jeff Hobbs junkies at all his fairly nearby
concerts. Pray the bar goes well! It's July 29-31.
Then I'll be moving back home to look for a job.
Please also pray that I find a good job (I won't find
out until November if I passed the bar- so there will
be lots of hang time working at the store- it's ok,
more time to keep the eyebrow piercing)
In 5 hours, (7 am, after I pack, and get a little sleep)
we're heading to Chicago for spring break! We're going
to try to get free Blue Man Group tickets, go to the
Chicago symphony because they are playing my favorite-
Rimsky-Korsakov's Russian Easter, and do other fun
Chicago-y things. Hope everyone else is having fun for
spring break! or at least fun celebrating spring time!
